Mario O. Buenfil Rodriguez MSc, of Cuernavaca, Mexico has practiced for 25 years as a professional engineer with private and public organizations. Most of his experience has been related to urban water and wastewater services in Mexico. In recent years he conducted a research at the Mexican Institute of Water Technology, and during 1999 he has led the development of a program to reduce water consumption in all federal buildings and facilities in his country.
