For the past Water Information Summits, the subject of information needs of water professions has been on the meeting agenda. The intent of this discussion topic is to identify the types of generic and geopraphically specfic information that is needed to support integrated water and land resources management on a river basin or watershed basis. This information and the priorities for different classes of information and knowledge will allow web masters and their respective organizations to better allocate available resources to developing water and water-related information content for web sites.
